The Association has been at the forefront of educating Ghanaians about the healthy alternative of a lifestyle based on a vegetarian diet.
The organisation is made up of members from all walks of life and members belong to a wide range of religious, non-religious & spiritual orientation. Personal beliefs are not a prerequisite to becoming a member of VegGhana, health living is the common denominator binding members. We welcome vegans, vegetarians and anyone living or transiting to a healthy lifestyle.
Several people from all walks of life support the efforts of the Association especially during the Annual VegFest now held every Farmers day 1st December by setting up exhibition stands to educate the public on their varied agendas and also sell healthy food goods & services to attendees.
VegGhana is at the fore front of propagating the benefits of Vegan, Vegetarianism and healthy lifestyles.

Youth-led NGO dedicated to developing the human interest to observe basic natural laws and adopt the behaviour of living in harmony with nature. Our goal is to create a balanced relationship between humans and the various natural systems on which they depend in such a way that all the components are accorded a proper degree of sustainability. Over the years our work has been in diverse fields including climate change, disaster risk reduction, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy activism.
We work directly with local communities to reduce the vulnerability of groups that are at risk to climate impacts such as children, youth and women who have a comparatively less adaptive capacity due to social and structural inequalities.

ANIMAL WELFARE at WEST AFRICA CENTRE FOR THE PROTECTION OF ANIMAL WELFARE
We are a registered animal NGO that relies on the generosity of donors, supporters & volunteers to care for the numerous stray dogs & cats each year.
GSPCA has taught Humane Ed to thousands of students in Accra, Volta Region, and Upper East Region. The GSPCA gives each student in the Humane Ed Programme their very own Humane Education Manual to keep; these become prized possessions.
As part of the HE Programme, students form Kindness Clubs and implement projects to help animals and their communities.
The GSPCA takes students on about four field trips each year. Often these trips are the 1st chance for students to see some of Ghana's amazing wildlife, to get comfortable around cats and dogs, and to learn about careers involving animals.
Our goals :-
To build Ghana’s first Rescue shelter to accommodate dogs especially neglected dogs and those involved in the dog meat trade.
To ensure Ghana becomes a cage-free egg production country.
To improve the living conditions of people depending on donkeys and horses and their welfare issues
To communicate and spread news on animals that will promote good welfare in the society.
Adopting and sharing good animal welfare practices for improved human well-being for sustainable development.
To promote animal welfare education among society, that will trigger holistically protection of all animals from torture, abuse, cruelty, diseases, and painful killing.
To ensure there are animal welfare stewardship in universities, corporate institutions, farms and communities
To raise awareness on One Health via animal welfare activities.
To raise awareness on the neglected wildlife and aquatic welfare issues.
To control the free-roaming dog population and reduce dog-mediated human rabies in the country.
